Bakersfield Liberty CA senior Ethan Jones finished third in the Division 1 boys final at the Central Section Championships, covering the 5-kilometer layout in 15:30.41 at Woodward Park in Fresno, Calif. Jones, who helped Liberty win the Division 2 championship last season by placing ninth in 16:22.63, contributed to the Patriots placing 12th overall with 308 points.
